Manager of Ergonomic Services

Ms. Myhre is a Certified Ergonomics Associate and a Physical Therapist with a Masters of Science from the University of Minnesota.  She specializes in the development, implementation and management of ergonomic-related injury prevention programs.

Injury Prevention Training –

Tailored to your company’s needs and work tasks, this training includes educational programs designed to prevent back and repetitive motion injuries. The programs feature active exercises and stretches and promotes employee involvement through the use of customized slides and/or videos.

Workstation Design Workshop

Encourage your workers to take ownership of ergonomic improvements that affect them! This workshop provides your employees with the tools and knowledge to make ergonomic changes independently that will reduce muscle stress and injury.

Stress Management Workshop – 

Help your employees identify stresses in the workplace and at home and offer them techniques for effectively controlling and managing their stress. The workshop includes exercises to minimize the effectiveness of stress in the muscles and joints.

Ergonomic Analysis

This service includes an analysis of high-risk workstations by videotape, photography and measurement. Your equipment and tool design will be carefully reviewed for the best fit between the work and the worker. Engineering, work practices and administrative controls will also be examined.

Job-site Analysis

This analysis includes the review of individual work stations through measurement, and if necessary, photography and video. You will receive a detailed report featuring recommendations to improve the worker-task relationship.

Written Job Descriptions

Developed in cooperation with employees and management, this service will help you determine the essential and associated functions of the job. More importantly, it measures the physical requirements of the job and identifies the worker qualifications required.

Functional Capacity Evaluation

This service includes an assessment of an injured worker’s capabilities and limitations through musculoskeletal testing and 20 different functional activities.
