Hazard Communication Training

Used correctly, chemicals are an important part of the work we do, but we often don't give these chemicals a second thought until a tragic accident occurs. Some materials may not appear to be dangerous, but they can be flammable, reactive, corrosive or toxic. If hazardous materials are in your workplace, it's important that everyone be aware of the risks and how to avoid them. The key is to have a system in place that tells everyone what he or she needs to know to work safely.

Clear and well-planned communication is very important to the safe use of hazardous materials. Having a plan in place to inform employees of potential dangers, as well as emergency situations that may occur is the best way to ensure the safety of everyone.
